Fu Liangyan was born in Chengdu city, Sichuan in 1946.

He is a distinguished member of the Sichuan artist association and is famous for his ability to portray the true spirit of animals while painting in fastidious detail. Additionally he is an accomplished landscapist with a passion for painting large scale landscapes.

His works are often exhibited throughout China and internationally winning him numerous awards and widespread recognition. Fu Liangyan's works have been exhibited throughout America, England, Germany, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Malaysia.
